A press machine is a machine that is fitted with a pair of tools called dies. Materials such as metal are placed between the dies and subjected to high pressure to form the material into the shape of the dies. Because it can produce identical products continuously in a short period of time, it is well-suited for mass production and is used in manufacturing sites around the world, including the automotive industry. Due to the noise and vibrations generated during processing, press processing sites have been known as “3K” workplaces. However, with the introduction of the servo press, which AIDA pioneered, this is undergoing a major transformation. We have added a highly rigid straight side frame model to our lineup of evolved A-Series servo presses. In addition to the three evolutions of “productivity,” operability,” and “energy saving” incorporated into our new A-Series Direct Servo Former, the N1-A Series is equipped with two additional features.
The frame shape has been redesigned, and the bolster rigidity has been boosted 50% compared to previous models.
The service life of electrical components is extended by housing them in a cabinet that is isolated from the frame.
Capacity Range
Press capacities range from 800 kN to 3,000 kN.
AIDA continues to independently develop and internally manufacture servo motors and drives, which it has done since it introduced the worlds first direct-drive servo presses to the marketplace. ’ AIDA continues to pursue the highest stamping press productivity. By utilizing AIDA low speed, high-torque servo motors–specifically designed for press applications–in a ‘direct drive’ configuration, freely programmable slide motions are now possible.
