Desco 19640 Surface Resistance Tester is a portable battery-powered tester equipped with built-in parallel electrodes that allow for testing of material surface resistance. This tester is designed for rapid testing of surface resistance for ESD control applications in electronics manufacturing or processing environments.
The surface resistance tester is equipped with an automatic test voltage selector. The test voltage will switch from 10V to 100V if the measured resistance exceeds 1 x 105 ohms. Two banana plugs and an electrode switch allow connection of two 5-pound external electrodes for point-to-point surface resistance (Rtt) measurements.

The Desco 19640 Surface Resistance Checker is a portable battery powered checker fitted with built-in parallel electrodes that allows for tests of material surface resistance.
This checker is designed for quick checks of surface resistance for ESD control applications in electronics manufacturing or handling environment. The Surface Resistance Checker is equipped with an automatic test voltage selector. The test voltage will switch from 10V to 100V so the measured resistance exceed 1 x 10^5 ohms. Two banana jacks and an electrode toggle switch allow for the connection of two external 5 pound electrodes that measure surface resistance point to point (Rtt).
Parallel Electrodes: Ensure that the electrode toggle switch is set to INTERNAL when choosing to take a measurement with these electrodes.
Test Switch: Use this switch to make a surface resistance measurement. Push and hold until one of the resistance measurement LEDs remain illuminated.
Specifications:
Accuracy: The Desco Surface Resistance Checker is calibrated to ensure that the proper LEDs lighting when their corresponding load resistances are applied. All load resistances shown below have a ±10% accuracy. No claims are made for the actual resistance values that trigger the change in LEDs.
Maintenance and calibration :
► We also have calibration certificate attached ( optional )
► Please re-calibrate after use for a certain period through our purchase store.
