Type C rubber hardness tester (EVA foam..) Standard for physical testing method of polyurethane elastomer. One of the testing items is hardness testing, and the rubber industry usually calls type A “shore-A” and type D “shore-D”. In addition, type C for low hardness range is called ASKER, and GS-701N(G) is the same product as ASKER-C. This product complies with the hardness test of JIS S 6050 “Resin Eraser”.

Furthermore, SRIS 0101 (ex Society of Rubber Industry, Japan standard of Measurement) which was the base of these standards was already discontinued, but only type name is remaining.
