pH Transmitter with 4-20 mA HI8614N

The HI8614N is a waterproof pH transmitter designed for use with standard high impedance pH probes with BNC connectors. The signal is then processed by a special high current amplifier, delivering an output current that is proportional to the input signal but independent of changes in voltage of load or cable.

Temperature compensation ensures fast readings, accurate compensation even during sudden temperature fluctuations.

Waterproof design for use in process control.

HI8614LN features an optional LCD backlight, LCD display for easy viewing (no LCD on HI8614N)

Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC)
Temperature compensation is performed by the ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) transmitter circuit when transmitting measurements taken with the supplied temperature probe; if ATC is not required, a fixed resistor can also be substituted for the temperature probe.

BNC connector
The transmitters use a universal BNC socket for quick and secure connection to any electrode with a BNC connector.

Easy calibration
Calibration is performed by adjusting two independent trimmers – slope and offset.

Isolated input
Inputs are isolated from the current loop to eliminate ground loop issues, low insulation cables, multiple electrode connections and common mode voltages up to 100V ensure true differential readings

Flexible to your needs
The transmitter can be connected to any Hanna controller that accepts analog input.

Version with LCD display
The HI8614LN versions allow for easy checking and monitoring of measurement values and easier calibration and maintenance.
