Measurement methods |
Chromotropic acid. This method is based on an adaptation of the chromotropic acid method in which digestion is required to convert all forms of nitrogen to nitrate. Sodium metabisulfite is added to reduce interference. The reaction between nitrate and the reagent produces a yellow color in the sample. |
