ASKER Durometer Type C1L Widely used for measuring soft rubber, sponges, and other foam elastomers, as well as rolled-threads, -films and textile windings (yarn packages).
Pic.: EVA sponge foam is measured in degrees of hardness using an Asker C gauge.
Standard about physical test method of polyurethane Elastomer.
In addition, type C for low hardness range is called ASKER C1L is the same product ASKER-C.
It complies with hardness test of JIS K 7312 JIS S 6050 “Plastic eraser”.
